We meet in Kathmandu September 24, 2022. As per the itinerary, we spend one full day in Kathmandu enjoying the amazing sightseeing and cultural experiences prior to our short flight into the Solo-Khumbu region and the beginning of the actual trek. Weather permitting, we will be at Mt. Everest’s famed Base Camp on Day 12. Instead of rushing back down we recommend an early morning climb to the stupendous lookout point, Kala Pattar, and the splendor of sunrise emerging behind Mt. Everest. We’ll be back in Kathmandu on October 9, 2021. . .weather permitting (a bonus Acclimatization, Rest and Learning Day has been added to the trek).
